The assistant chief for Makunga has been publicly exposed by the wife of Kakamega county governor Fernandes Barasa for allegedly having sexual encounters with students.
Janet claims that the Assistant Chief has been seducing and sleeping with young females by giving them expensive presents like cellphones and cash.
Many of them have gotten pregnant by the chiefs but nothing has been done to stop it.
The first lady of the county warned that many would take her jokes lightly, but that the matter was actually quite serious.
She informed the chief that she was on her way to see him and to prepare for her arrival.
Mrs. Janet claimed that the girls felt unsafe because of the chief, even though he was meant to be safeguarding them.
She said the cases her office has received have crushed her heart and vowed to find out what happened.
“Kuna assistant chief wa Makunga. Yeye ndio ako msitari wa mbele kupea watoto wasichana mimba. Mimi nataka huyo asistant chief aletwe kwangu… Yeye anadanganya watoto wasichana na simu. Anawanunulia simu, anawapea pocket money yet yeye ndio anafaa kuchunga hao watoto. So assistant chief wa Makunga am coming for you,” Mrs Barasa said
