DJ Fatxo, a popular Mugithi musician, has now broken his silence on the mysterious murder of his former makeup artist, Jeff Mwathi.
Fatxo, who co-hosted the Radio Jambo show with Massawe in Japani, remembered the deceased as a good young man and a close buddy they met in a shoe store.
Fatxo has expressed confusion as to why he is being held as a suspect in the murder of Mwathi, given that he is incapable of such a thing.

‘I am not a murderer,’ Fatxo insisted, “Jeff was my friend, and I don’t understand why I could kill him, he was just a young man.
After being exonerated of murder charges related to Mwathi’s death in Fatxo’s home on Kasarani street, the Mugithi musician made his first public radio appearance a week later.
Fatxo said that Jeff had shown up at his house on the day of his death, and that the two had planned to meet so that he could tell Jeff about his novel approach to educating phonograph players and DJs.
Faxto met Jeff through a mutual relative named Kinuthia, who had been looking for him on WhatsApp.

From there, they went from club to club, eating and drinking their way until he was so tipsy that he insisted on driving him home to bed.
Last Monday, the DPP released the report and charged Faxto with all the charges where Faxto alleged he had been defamed to a considerable amount after Faxto had instructed his lawyers to write to the DPP seeking answers to the inquiry of Jeff’s death.
