
“Without Him, No UDA” Residents Storm UDA Office After Politician Withdrew From 2022 Race
A section of residents based in Mumias are currently being reported to have had stormed United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party offices located in there region demanding to know why politician withdrew from the race.
According to the report the residents were demanding that the Mumias East Member of Parliament Benjamin Washiali should vie in the forthcoming elections that are quickly approaching.
From the video of the incident which has yet gone viral in different social media pages the locals of Mumias can be heard categorically shouting that without the Mumias East Legislator, they will not support the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) in there region.
“Without him (Washiali) in Mumias East, then no UDA. Or Ruto…” One of the locals who storm the offices can be heard saying.
This started after Washiali had officially revealed that he will take his humble time so as to do campaigns for Deputy President William Ruto who is eyeing to vie for the presidency seat in the upcoming general elections.
As the MP even said that it was high time he gave local politics a break in order to deliver the presidency seat to UDA party leader Deputy President Ruto.
