After her tale went viral on social media, a second Kenyan woman was rescued from Saudi Arabia.
Nelly Jelagat arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on a Thursday at 3:00 pm. She was in Saudi Arabia without shoes, and she voiced her dissatisfaction with the Kenyan embassy and the brokers who helped her get there.

She was being repeatedly beaten by her Arab manager, but she was powerless to defend herself because she was in a foreign nation.
According to media reports, Nelly said that she was tormented by her boss before escaping to the offices of her agent.

She claims she called the embassy multiple times and received no response; it wasn’t until her plight was brought to light on social media that someone from the embassy decided to call her back.
Nelly continued by saying that her agent Salome was so impolite that she had never gotten a response to any of her complaints.

In the footage, she can be heard saying, “I did not fail to fight back, I simply avoided fighting back because I was in a foreign country.”
She said it is the police that came to her rescue.
