Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa has welcomed Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to join United Democratic Alliance ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Aisha Jumwa, a staunch supporter of Deputy President William Ruto who was speaking during DP Ruto’s tour to Nyeri County on today Saturday, said that she is going to meet with Joho in the coming days, where she will use her political expertise to convince the outgoing governor to Join Deputy William Ruto’s camp.
Jumwa Congratulated Ali Joho for his bold and courageous decision to go back to the tent and avoid active ODM Politics, a move that saw the Governor Skip Raila’s Mombasa Rallies a few weeks ago.
“Mimi Kama Jumwa Si Mnanitambua Niliingiza Waiguru, Wamuchomba, na Waruguru Box na ni wa Hapa Kwenu? Na Je Joho ambaye tunatoka Village Moja? Wiki Ijaayo Tuko na Mkutano, lakini sitaki kusema Mengi kwa Sababu Fomu Ni Hustler Mpaka 2022,” Legislature Says.
On the other hand, Deputy President William Ruto reiterated to deliver on the big four agenda if elected.
Ruto who was touring the Nyeri county on Saturday said he will prioritize the Big four.
“We will give out Sh100billion on housing and value addition for the youths,” he said as the crowd chanted.
These are our children. We have taken them to school, if we don’t plan about their employment who will?”
Deputy President William Ruto said next year, he will stand firm on the promises even if the president goes home.
He said since 30 percent of workers are the common mwananchi, most of them can’t borrow loans from the bank.
“These businessmen will have Sh50m every year for borrowing without interest,” Ruto said.
He said he understands government priority projects and programmes that needed to be implemented to transform the country’s economy.
Deputy President is in Nyeri County for three days to popularize his husler agenda.
