police officer who shot dead his colleague and injured his boss after a disagreement has been arrested.
Constable Abel Chumba of Kaongo Kampio General Service Unit(GSU) camp shot his fellow officer on the left eye and left hand near the elbow, killing him. Chumba, in the Tuesday, February 22, incident which occurred at Meru’s Mutuati Police Station then turned his gun on the inspector in charge of the camp. According to a police report seen by updatedmail.co.ke, the suspect then escaped with his J66207 rifle before he was arrested. Thirteen spent cartridges of 7.62 mm were recovered from the scene.
