A suspect was killed on Washington’s Birthday, a weekday after he was caught stealing phones from a church in Kakamega.
Moses Juma and two other people are accused of stealing from the Mountain Movers church in the Maraba area of Kakamega county, Kenya, at different times in the wee hours of the morning.

The three units are thought to have walked into the church because they were at the center of morning prayers.
Mountain Mover church pastor Daniel Akasamba told Wananchi that the suspects broke into the church around four in the morning while they were having prayers, which is when they broke in.
In the beginning, the pastor said that he was happy to see three young people join them for the morning prayers. Later on, he found out that they had been doing bad things, though.
“We prayed a lot in the church when the music from a phone stopped.”
“I raised my head and was afraid to look at the three people running away,” the pastor said.
This is what a pastor told Mwananchi: “The phone from which the music was collaborating and three completely different phones that were being charged are gone.”
“I taught a lot of different people at the same time, and then I told the neighbors,” says Akasamba.
With the help of the people in the area, the three suspects were caught. But two of them were able to get away.
“The residents went after the three suspects.” “A pair of them ran in the same direction, but one ran on his own,” said Jeremiah Khachina, who lives in the town.
As Lewis Panyako, a person who lives in the area, told me, one of the suspects walked aggressively toward the church compound when he realized that no one was following him. the village had killed him at that time.
Justus Mukoshi, the Butsotso Central Chief, said that the incident happened.
He, on the other hand, told people not to try to do the law on their own.
“I have to make sure that our young people learn how to work in profitable businesses.” There are a lot of businesses we want to work in, but we don’t want to steal from them. The Chief said, “Let’s go into them.”
The body of the person who died was taken to the mortuary at the Kakamega County General Teaching and Referral Hospital in the county.
The police office in Kakamega Central, Kenya, agreed with the facts of the case.
