Trevor Ombija Profile: Background, Education, Career and Family.

He attended Anding’o Opanga high school and later joined the University of Nairobi to pursue a degree in journalism and media studies.
He once worked as a matatu tout before joining the media industry. His father worked as a teacher. As from February 2010 to April 2011 he worked as the collaborative dispatch coordinator at the global coordinating organization.
While studying UoN, CCTV now known as CGTN approached him and he accepted the offer as an intern for the network as an office manager. In mid 2013 he started work at Nation FM as a news anchor.
Later he joined NTV as a senior news anchor for five years. He currently works at citizen TV where he holds several roles which include but is not limited to; Monday special report, Day break on Wednesday and the social square Friday.
He’s also a TV anchor at Ramogi TV. Trevor drives a German machine. On his free days he likes to read travel and ride bikes. Trevor has invested in a multi-million club in Kileleshwa called Samaki Samaki Club.
Additionally, he is a senior partner at Crestwood Marketing and Communications Ltd, which deals with communication, advertising, marketing and public relations.
Trevor Ombija hails from the Luo tribe of Kenya and professes the Christian faith.
