Blow to Kenya as FIFA /CAF ban Kasarani and Nyayo.
Two biggest sporting facilities in the country, Kasarani and Nyayo Stadium have been banned by FIFA from hosting International competitions.
According to CAF inspection committee two facilities did not meet the required standard to stage FIFA /CUP related matches; World Cup/CAF qualifiers and Club competitions.
This means both Gor Mahia and Tusker will have look for alternative Venues either in Uganda or Tanzania to host their Confederation Cup matches against Otoho D’oyo (Congo) and C’s Sfaxien of Tunisia.
Kenya have only been allowed to host one match against Rwanda (WCR) at Nyayo Stadium.
