A few days ago, many Kenyans’ hearts were moved by a photograph of an elderly father in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, carrying his ailing daughter with a Leso tied at his back.
Since this happened on a holiday honoring fathers in Kenya, many people there have bestowed upon him various titles.
After further research, it became clear that the youngster had mental and physical disabilities, causing financial hardship for her family. Concerned citizens of Kenya made the choice to aid the old man.
Arap Uria, a popular comedian in Kenya, reportedly visited the rural home of an elderly man today, and posted about it on his Facebook page.
He has pleaded with the people of Kenya to keep giving whatever they can to support that one individual. The initial 100,000 Kenyan Shillings (KSH) in donations is encouraging.
