Education
Kamauwa is a settlement in Moiben Constituency, Uasin Gishu county, where the YouTuber was born. He started his studies in Mutei, where he later completed his primary education, before moving on to two different high schools before graduating from Tambach.
Arap Uria then went on to earn a Bachelor of Education from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He majored in math and geography and will be graduating in 2019.
Career
The name Uria originates with his grandfather, who served as an inspiration for his protagonist. First, he became known for his drunken antics in comedic short films. These clips were mostly recorded in his native tongue.

He also collaborates with a friend known as “Gogo Smallz” on some Facebook videos in which they mimic sports commentators. For the videos, he dresses as his wife.
He credits God, his early backers, and his loyal audience with helping him get where he is today in the comedy world.
