In a recent interview, Pastor Mary Wanjau of God’s Power Ministry shared her deeply personal story, shedding light on her tumultuous marriage and the events that led her to make a life-altering decision.

Known for her unwavering commitment to the truth, Pastor Mary has long been a prominent figure in the Kenyan Christian community and on social media.

Her story began when she met her future husband, also a pastor, during a challenging period in his life.

At that time, Mary held a prominent role as the personal assistant of MCSK, where she had access to significant financial resources.

Her husband was struggling with three months of church rent arrears, and his house was on the brink of being locked.

Moved by compassion, Mary extended her support, rescuing him from the brink of financial ruin.

This act of kindness sparked a connection between them, and they soon fell in love, culminating in a wedding that officially united them as a couple.

Together, Mary and her husband welcomed a young girl into their home, adopting her and providing her with love and support as their own daughter.

Life was harmonious until the adopted daughter reached university, at which point her behavior began to change, and she even displayed rudeness towards Mary.

Concerned about this sudden shift, Mary approached her husband, seeking his advice.

To her surprise, he dismissed her concerns, attributing the girl’s attitude to stress.

One fateful day, Mary left home for two days, and upon her return, she was confronted with a disturbing revelation from her biological daughter, who was in class eight.

Her adopted daughter and her husband had engaged in inappropriate conduct overnight in her bedroom.

Confronted with this shocking revelation, Mary approached her husband, who vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

However, their adopted daughter admitted to the indiscretion and claimed that Mary’s husband intended to extend his affection to her as well.

Frustrated and hurt, Mary implored her husband to discuss the matter in private, away from their daughter’s presence.

Her husband insisted on involving the young girl, leaving Mary feeling disrespected.

As time passed, it became evident that the adopted daughter was pregnant, and, astonishingly, Mary’s husband declared that the girl was not going anywhere.

He even warned Mary that if she chose to leave, she would have to take her own children with her.

Resolute in her decision to end the marriage, Mary took the brave step of leaving her husband and embarking on a journey of healing.

To ensure that there would be no turning back, she relocated to Saudi Arabia, where she worked for nine months.

This period of reflection and growth allowed her to regain her strength and find solace in a foreign land.

Mary’s story is a testament to her resilience and unwavering commitment to the truth.

Her journey serves as an inspiration to those who have faced difficult circumstances, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, one can find the strength to move forward and rebuild their life.
