The musician’s admirers criticized him for his previous comments. In an official statement, Jua Cali expresses regret for mocking Njugush’s comic program.
Njugush and his wife were trolled by Jua Cali over the weekend while they were in Australia for a TTNT concert.

He stated that despite their friendship, he does not find Njugush’s antics to be humorous.
People were initially turned off by his statement, but afterwards appreciated his music more because of it.
The musician has issued a statement in which he apologizes for his comments and proclaims his love of stand-up.
Since first seeing the great Richard Pryor on VHS, Nimekua has been a tremendous fan of stand-up comedy as an art form. But then Eddie Murphy came along and he was a total slam dunk on the stand-up circuit.
Jua Cali continued by saying that comedians are like musicians in that they can’t play the same song over and over again, whereas songs may be performed endlessly.
I was the one who encouraged @eddiebutita to perform 1 hour specials when we were on a trip to Dubai a few years ago: “…Standup comedian has to have a huge team of dope writers ndio special ikue na structure, examples of dope writers wale nawajua ni YY na Butita.”
The gengetone performer continued his explanation of stand-up comedy by saying that it’s impossible to do it alone.
“Fans of Njugush vs. Njugush tweet ilicome out harsh hio haikua intent napenda.” Stand-up skits for Njugush are difficult to master, but with practice you may go from zero to hero. StandUp ni artform inataka patience na a lot of resources kama tu music industry but done well hapo kuna doe kuruka!!! NJUGUSH will become one of the Greats, let’s join together.

He then proceeded to name some of the greatest stand-up comics of all time as role models for aspiring comedians.
The young man then expressed his regret and that he never intended any harm toward Njugush’s supporters.
The speaker continued, explaining that stand-up comedy is a skill that can be honed with time and effort.
