The YouTube Partner Program (YPP) is growing. Creators can now submit their YPP applications far earlier than in the past.
The new cutoff is 500 members, three public uploads in the last ninety days, and either 3,000 watch hours in the past year or 3,000,000 views in the last ninety days, or both.

To become partners, new creators need just meet the reduced threshold. The new affiliates will be able to use the fan funding tools.
Channel subscriptions, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Super Thanks are also available.
In addition, they can use YouTube to advertise their own wares.

For YouTubers who haven’t yet amassed a sizable following, this is excellent news. With these updated requirements, creators can begin making money on the channel much sooner.
The standards for making money off of movies, however, have remained mostly unchanged.
Ad revenue is the primary source of income for YouTube creators. This new, lower threshold only permits them to make via fan fundraising features.
1000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of viewing time in the previous 12 months used to be YouTube’s prerequisite for ad revenue.
These requirements are still in effect, which is a problem for smaller accounts.
The latest release isn’t available worldwide, unfortunately. The United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea are the initial launch markets for the YouTube Partner Program. With this platform, people in all countries with YPP availability will have access to it sooner.
Growth of the YouTube Affiliate Program
The affiliate program for YouTube Shopping is also expected to grow. Affiliate programs make it possible for content makers to promote the goods of other businesses and artists.
Commissions on products purchased through these creators’ videos and Shorts will be competitive.
However, only American YPP creators can participate in this initiative. In addition, YPP participants must have more than 20,000 subscribers.
