Jesus Christ was a great teacher of the law and great in deeds, while a teacher is known for answering questions, explaining concepting and expounding them. Jesus on the other hand used questions questions to teach. Infact Jesus asked a total of 304 questions, he was asked 183 questions and he only answered three questions directly

1. Who do you say I am?
Jesus asked this questions to his disciples because many people had different ideas if who he was. Peter said some said he were Elijah, others Jeremiah or one of the great prophet(Mathew 16:15) the reason for asking this question was to clarify his authority so that people would know why they need to believe in him
2. Do you believe?
Many people come to Jesus needing something, may be a miracle of healing, resurrection, sight or even food. But the most important question did was and is do you believe?

3. Do you want to get well?
Even though this seemed like an odd question for Jesus to ask a man who had been an lame for 38 years. The man had been lying by the pool of Bethesda waiting to be cured by a Spirit that would occasionally stir up the waters. Jesus wanted to know if the man knew what he wanted

4. Why are you so afraid?
In Mathew 8:26, Jesus asked His followers why they were so afraid their boat would overturn on account of some wind and waves, especially since He was right there in the boat with them. Certainly, if the Son of God was in their midst, they would safely get to the other side. At another instance when his disciples saw him walking on the water in the midst of a storm, they were terrified and thought he was a ghost. 5. Do you still not see or understand?
Jesus most likely asked this question out of frustration, this is because no matter what tejh saw him do, they still doubted, for instance Jesus had four thousand neb with seven loaves of bread and a few fish and other extra ordinary acts yet they still seemed not to get it.

The bible records in Luke 10:23-28 that an expert in the law stood to test Jesus and asked him what he must do to inherit the eternal life. Jesus answered the by asking “what is written in the law? How do you read it?”

In a crowded place where people touching each other oftenly Jesus asked the most this question not because he wasn’t aware of who had touched him but because he wanted people to know
