Being a national leader can be a tiresome job because of all the activities which comes with the position such as travelling within and outside the country, making speeches and even officiating some activities. Such activities require a sound mind so as to facilitate appropriate progressions furthermore all work and no play makes jack a full boy so they say, president Kenyatta engages in various activities during his leisure.
Here is a brief list of what Kenyatta does during his free time so as to relax his mind
1. He spents his free time with his family
Uhuru apart from being a national leader he also is a family man who is married to one wife and together they have several children. During his leisure he likes to spent time with his family and one time disclosed that state house was never the same whenever his children are away, although his children have moved out president Kenyatta lives with his wife in the state house.
2. Taking drives
Frequently Kenyatta has been caught on camera driving himself on a busy road without guards. For example on 2016 he was caught breaking traffic rules where he was driving without having fastened seat belt
3. Photography
Even though many people may not know this but actually Kenyatta is a camera man, on one occasion while leading a state house afair in tree planting excercise at his residence, he took camera and began taking photos of his staff as they were planting trees.
4. Watching wildlife
He literally enjoys watching wild animals; his first act after becaming president was to bring statues of the big five animals in the state house. And has been in the forefront campaigning against poaching of wildlife.
