Early in the morning we have experienced a great Formula 1 race in Australia.
Ferrari’s Charles Lerlec who started at the pole position dominated the race from the start to the end keeping a time gap of twenty seconds ahead of second place Sergio Perez of Red Bull.
The race saw Max Verstappen who was keeping close tab to Charles unable to finish the race after smelling something in his car in the 39th lap. Carlos Sainz and Sebastian Vettel also did not finish after experiencing challenges with their cars.
Mercedes drivers Rusell and Hamilton holded it tight from the start to finish the race in third and fourth respectively.
Charles Lerlec was voted the fans driver of the day after leading from the start to the end and also recording the fastest lap in that race. This is the fourth win for him and the third win by Ferraris in the last four Australian Grand Prix.
After the third round of F1 GP 2022 season Lerlec is leading the drivers point chat with 71 points 34 points ahead of second place George Rusell.
