Former Ivorian, Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder is set to join the Spurs academy coaching staff. The three time premier league champion retired from football in 2019. After retirement he joined Russian side Akhmat Grozny as a coach but later moved back to England to be with his family and continue his coaching career.

While Toure is not technically employed by Spurs, the ex-Barcelona midfielder has been working alongside academy coaches Dean Rastick and Chris Powell on an informal basis to gain experience.
The 38-year old has got much experience in English football having played for 10 years at City and he will give Spur’s youngsters a wealth of experience and that’s why Tottenham intend to employ him as an academy coach. He will join the unde-15 group to help explore their talents.
