A win today will move the Reds to three points shy of the league leaders Manchester City. In another fixture Brentford will host Burnley starting at 1800hrs EAT.
The match of the day will be at 2030hrs EAT. Manchester United at their home ground Old Trafford will host Totenham Hotspurs in what is expected to be an entertaining fixture. Both teams are fighting for a champions league spot with United being in 5th position two points above their opponents who are in 7th position. United come into this match after being thrashed by their neighbours Manchester City last weekend by 4-1goals. On the other hand Spurs won their last match against Everton by five goals to nil.
United will be aiming to win three consecutive matches against Spurs for the first time since 2010. Spurs will be trying to bounce back from their defeat to United at home in the first leg. A win for either side will be a boost to them in their pursuit for the top four. The last time the two met here United suffered a heavy defeat when they conceded six goals four of them coming in the first half.
