Although it’s yet to officially be announced by the club, Hillary Mukundane declared on Sunday that he left Mbarara City FC.
Despite the club not confirming the developments, one of their officials Osborn Mushabe posted on his Twitter handle bidding farewell to the defender: “All the best to you Hillary Mukundane in your endeavours,” the tweet partly read.
“l first met you in 2015, in my Osborn Cup in Ibanda district, a year before you joined Mbarara City FC, You have been outstanding always. Mbarara City FC should organize a testimonial for you,” he added
find out where Mukundane is headed next landed on a source closer to the player himself.
And, Vipers SC could be Mukundane’s next destination as they have already reached out to him and his representatives.
Although there are also other clubs in the Uganda Premier League monitoring the situation, a move to Kitende could be irresistible.
However, the source further revealed to this website that Mukundane’s move away from Mbarara is just pending a release, involving a certain amount of money. When sorted he’ll be free to leave.
Mukundane has been the captain of the Ankole Lions and one of the longest serving players at the club.
