    In the realm of Kenyan television, one name has resonated for over a decade—Elizabeth Wanjiru, fondly known as “Shosh” and renowned for her portrayal of Charity Mwamba in the popular Citizen TV series “Mother in Law.”

    Thirteen years into their union, in 1981, Bageine left her. His subsequent return to Uganda, where he later became the Minister of State for East African Affairs, added layers to Wanjiru’s life story.

    Despite the personal hardships she faced, Elizabeth Wanjiru continued to shine in her professional endeavors.
