The wife of popular Kenyan musician King Kaka, Nana Owiti, has been receiving a lot of attention online after she posted some old images of the couple.
In the touching messages, Nana reflected on the day they met 12 years ago and the special times they’ve spent together since.

Nana jokingly remarked that she couldn’t have possibly declined to offer King Kaka her number in the captions of her Instagram posts.
She joked, “Ningekunyima number aje sasa?” which means, “How could I have denied you my number now?” This humorous statement set the stage for the reminiscence that followed.

In Nana’s memory, the two went to the movies as part of a bet on their first date. The loser of the wager would have to buy popcorn and soda for the winner.
She recalled with fondness the day she finally met her match in King Kaka during this outing and his competitive spirit.
She was amused to recall that she could still picture them in their outfits from that day, despite the fact that she was the one who paid for everything.
Nana’s first trip to the theater was an unforgettable event. When she found out that going to the movies was enjoyable in Nairobi, she exclaimed, “Watu wa Nairobi mko na Raha,” which can be translated as “Nairobi people know how to have fun.” The day they first met was the beginning of their love story, and in retrospect, Nana says, it was one of the best of her life.

To celebrate their fantastic journey together, Nana Owiti took the opportunity to express her appreciation for their chance meeting.
She gushed that King Kaka was the best of all worlds as a spouse, friend, confidant, and parent. She tweeted her undying affection for her spouse with the hashtags #HADITUKUNJEMGONGO and #HIIIMEENDA, which represent the stability and growth of their relationship, respectively.

Nana Owiti gave her followers an insight into the long love story she and King Kaka experienced through the use of sentimental vintage images and captions. People on the internet were quick to respond, leaving messages of support and encouragement for the happy pair.
Their supporters remain captivated by these touching scenes, and it’s clear that Nana and King Kaka’s relationship is a model for viewers.
