Millicent Omanga, a former senator for Nairobi County, made headlines when she posted a selfie of herself and three other women, including public service CS Aisha Jumwa and Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru.
The women were obviously attending a formal event with a strict dress code, as evidenced by their attire. With the exception of Waiguru, who wore white pants, everyone was dressed in all-white attire.
Millicent Omanga wrote “Ma Galdem” in the photo’s caption. Kenyans on Twitter have been very vocal about their reactions to this image. They received numerous compliments on their appearance.
