VDJ Jones, who calls himself the “godfather of gengetone music,” has made a shocking confession about the final test his conscience endured for money. The DJ spoke out about his experience with a prominent media figure and singer who was also a member of the LGBTQ community in an exclusive interview with Plug TV Kenya.
Mimo nishai katiwa na mwanaume, bigfish kwa industry, sitamtaja lakini ni msanii na media staff. Jones said, “I almost was molested by a media celebrity, a musician, and a big shot in the industry.”

The DJ claimed that he was invited to a business meeting at the media mogul’s home, but as he arrived, he discovered that the keys were hidden in the man’s underwear.
VDJ Jones elaborated, “I was summoned for a business meeting in the evening, not knowing that he had asked me to his house. The instant I got at his home, he locked the door and seized the keys, placing them inside his boxers, and dared me to remove them if at all I wanted to escape the house.”

The media mogul then allegedly made sexual favors in exchange for a MacBook and a big sum of money from Jones a situation which left netizens reacting.
He knew I was a DJ and needed equipment for my job, so he offered me a MacBook and about $100,000 USD, expecting that I would take the bait. “But you know I’m straight; I can never sleep with a fellow man,” he said.
Jones, who identifies as straight, courageously rejected the approaches and promised swift consequences should the media celebrity persist. Jones eventually forgave the man and kicked him out of the house despite his repeated attempts to contact her. The DJ claimed this situation was the hardest he had ever faced in his professional life.
