Mbarara corporates, known as the “country of milk and honey,” recently hosted a gala that more than lived up to the hype.
Kakyeka Stadium was swarmed by the city’s most ambitious youth in the hopes of seizing control of the business event.

Spies in Mbarara claim that corporations recognized the task since the women’s teams drew the largest crowds, including many male HR managers and CEOs who may have seen an opportunity to fill open positions.
Corporate entities of all kinds and shapes descended upon the western Ugandan metropolis, leaving their counterparts in Kampala rubbing their hands together with delight at all the “things” taking place there.

Ray G, the top musician in the region, gave Kampalans a taste of the West at his concert, which attracted the same type of audience as the corporate league, but was held in a more intimate setting away from the business elite.
People who were there said that the throng seemed like it may have been the same as the Kakyeka crowd.
