The 2027 general election is beckoning with only two years remaining before the Kenyans decide on who will be their next head of state. The opposition side led by Rigathi Gachagua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa,Fred Matiang’i among others have vowed to form the next government and send President Ruto’s administration packing.
According to the reliable source we have with us from the Swahili language newspaper Taifa Leo dated today Thursday 25th September 2025, details have emerged that the former deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has issued a list of demands to the opposition camp to deliberate on in preparation of the 2027 polls.

From the source, Gachagua wants the opposition side leaders seeking the presidential ticket to publicly show the number of supporters they have nationally, enjoy massive support countrywide, sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mt Kenya region, publicly criticizes the Kenya Kwanza administration and attends the opposition public rallies in person and work together with others.
