Stephen, a Kenyan residing in Saudi Arabia, has been sentenced to death by beheading after being found guilty of murder by a court in the country.

The verdict was handed down following accusations of killing a coworker.

Reports from reliable sources indicate that Stephen’s only chance to avoid execution is by paying diya, or blood money, amounting to KES 123.3 million to the deceased’s family.

However, Stephen’s family has only managed to raise Ksh 5 million, leaving them in desperate need of additional support.

The impending execution has sparked concern and urgency among Stephen’s family and supporters, who are scrambling to raise the required funds before the deadline of 10 days expires.

In a separate development, former Prime Minister of Kenya and presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, Honorable Raila Odinga, has been cautioned against being misled by certain individuals in Dubai.

Renowned politician from the United Democratic Alliance party, Honorable Kimani Ichungwa, has voiced his concerns, alleging that Raila Odinga’s criticisms of the government are based on misinformation fed to him by dubious sources.

As the situation unfolds, Stephen’s case highlights the harsh realities faced by Kenyan expatriates living and working abroad, particularly in countries with strict legal systems.

The urgent plea for financial assistance underscores the dire consequences of legal disputes in foreign jurisdictions and the critical need for support networks to rally behind those in need.

Meanwhile, the political dynamics in Kenya continue to evolve, with Raila Odinga’s actions drawing scrutiny and debate.

As the country navigates through these challenging times, the importance of accurate information and sound judgment becomes increasingly paramount in shaping the nation’s future.
