The controversial preacher has hit the headlines since the 12th of February after releasing a song ‘yesu ninyandue’ imitating embarambamba’s style.
The preacher defended his song saying that he was trying to entertain people and adapt to the changing times.
He has previously collaborated with embarambamba on a song called ‘Nyonga’. This style of music has seen him being criticized and being accused of seeking public attention.
He told TUKO that he is not bothered by the negative comments.
” I try to understand my environment .many things have changed and I can’t continue with the old gospel music style. I am trying to entertain people,” he said.
He also said that his family and relatives are his biggest fans especially his mother-in – law.
” My relatives understand that I am in the entertainment industry.They truly support me .My mother in law even liked my controversial video on Facebook.” He said.
Previously he had publically confessed his love for tiktoker Njoki murira.He praised her beauty and expressed his intentions to marry her as his second wife.He went on to reveal his plan of opening a church where Njoki would be ordained as a preacher.
” I have been deeply infatuated with Njoki for a considerable time. I humbly beseach her to embrace me as I am confident in my ability to provide for her. I will give her everything.l aspire her to become my second wife and upon our union I shall facilitate her ordination as a preacher. Together we shall establish a church where Njoki will serve as a pastor ,” Getumbe said in an interview.
