Desperate Mum Takes Her Last Two Goats to School in Exchange for Daughter’s Admission

The two remaining assets in her possession, two goats, were offered as a symbolic plea for admission.
Facing the formidable challenge of providing school fees for her daughter, the desperate mother candidly shared her struggles. “Sikua na njia ya kumpeleka shule na hii tu ndo ilikua the last option. Alipita vizuri na sikua na school fees nikaona nichukue mbuzi wangu wawili kama fees atleast mtoto wangu asome kama wanafunzi wengine,” she explained.
The unwavering dedication of the mother did not go unnoticed. Keiyo South MP Gideon Kimayo, touched by the family’s plight, extended a helping hand by making a generous offer. He expressed, “This is touching. Let me buy those goats with her school fees for four years.”
