The controversial Kenyan media personality, Jacque Maribe, has opened up about her close ties to top government officials in the country.
Sharing a photo on her Instagram stories, Maribe showcased the recent meeting between President William Ruto and former President Uhuru Kenyatta in the Democratic Republic of Congo during President Félix Tshisekedi’s inauguration.
Accompanying the photo, Maribe expressed gratitude to both leaders, crediting them for playing instrumental roles in shaping her life—a fact previously unknown to many.

The former Citizen TV news anchor revealed that her connections to President William Ruto and former President Uhuru Kenyatta have placed her within the inner circle of the government.
“I could write a book about these two. How they changed my life. How I became somebody from nobody. How I got into the inner sanctum. I could write an endless book,” Maribe shared in her Instagram story.

While Maribe did not delve into the specifics of how she established connections with the political figures, there have been previous instances indicating her proximity to State House.
In 2017, she was rumored to have enjoyed good relations with the head of state, leading to speculation that these connections played a role in her receiving the Head of State Commendation (HSC) during that year’s Jamhuri Day celebrations.
During that time, Maribe was perceived to be so close to the head of state that her exclusion from the appointment of State House deputy spokesperson, given to her colleague Kanze Dena, surprised many netizens.

Notably, Jacque Maribe shares a close association with Dennis Itumbi, a key figure in the campaigns of both President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto during the 2013 and 2017 General Elections.
Itumbi’s influential role extended to Ruto’s success in the 2022 polls, earning him recognition as part of the inner circle of the head of state.
Maribe and Itumbi’s close relationship has been the subject of speculation, with rumors suggesting a romantic involvement.

Despite frequent social media interactions and public appearances together, both Maribe and Itumbi have consistently denied these speculations, emphasizing that they share a deep friendship.
Jacque Maribe has added a layer of complexity to her public persona, leaving followers curious about the dynamics of her connections and the extent of her involvement within the inner circles of power.
As the details remain shrouded in mystery, the revelation adds a new dimension to the narrative surrounding Maribe’s journey and her relationship with the political landscape in Kenya.
