Human Rights Activist and Busia Senator, Okiya Omtatah, recently took to Twitter to commend Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Church for a compassionate act captured in a heartening video.

In addition to the monetary assistance, Pastor Ng’ang’a shared invaluable advice with the hawkers, urging them to unite and form a collective group.

The purpose of this initiative is to cultivate a sense of community and facilitate weekly contributions of about Kes 20 from each member, creating a savings pool for their future endeavors.

Omtatah, renowned for his dedication to human rights causes, expressed his admiration for Pastor Ng’ang’a philanthropic gesture in a tweet.

He highlighted the pastor’s act of blessing 41 hawkers attending the church service with a substantial financial gift of Kes 10,000 each.

Omtatah reinforced the significance of generosity with a proverb, stating, “He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives some of his food to the poor.”

This commendation from Omtatah not only praises a specific act but also sheds light on the positive impact that acts of kindness and community support can have on individuals striving to make a living in challenging circumstances.

The acknowledgment of Pastor Ng’ang’a initiative by a prominent human rights advocate underscores the importance of recognizing and appreciating efforts that contribute to the well-being of marginalized members of society.

Omtatah’s tweet serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of generosity and blessings, transcending religious and cultural boundaries.

It echoes a sentiment that goes beyond a singular act, emphasizing the enduring impact of such gestures on both individuals and the community at large.

In a world often fraught with challenges, Pastor Ng’ang’a initiative stands as a beacon of hope and communal support.

The encouragement for hawkers to organize themselves into a collective group not only provides financial assistance but also fosters a spirit of unity and shared responsibility.

As the video circulates, it serves as a testament to the positive role that religious leaders can play in uplifting their communities.

Pastor Ng’ang’a dual approach of financial assistance and imparting valuable advice showcases a holistic commitment to the well-being of his congregation.

Okiya Omtatah’s commendation of Pastor Nganga’s benevolent act highlights the transformative power of generosity and community support.

As this news spreads, it serves as a reminder of the profound impact that individuals, especially those in influential positions, can have on the lives of the less privileged.

Pastor Ng’ang’a initiative not only supports the hawkers financially but also empowers them to build a better future through collective efforts.
