Member of parliament for Githunguri hon Gathoni Wa Muchomba has responded to the great welcome she received at her home in Githunguri via her official Twitter account.
The outspoken lawmaker claimed that a big number of constituents had shown out to hear her message.
She claims to be pleased with the residents’ choice of the name “Mathee” for her. She insisted that they had the time of their lives because it was their special day.
Gathoni Wa Muchomba has recently been in the news for her outspoken criticism of President William Ruto’s administration about the recently passed financial bill, which she claims exploits the plight of poor Kenyans.
She promised her supporters that she would always keep their trust, no matter how much pressure she received from on high.
She said it was terrible for all the ladies in the area that President William Ruto had not given her a chance to address the people when he came to visit.
Gathoni Wa Muchomba has been a staunch and powerful protector of her people, going to them for advice whenever she feels it’s necessary to take action.
