A man named Adam has recounted how, after an accident left his wife wanting his death, he resorted to sleeping with dead bodies to ensure his survival.
He claims that he met and married his wife, moved in with her, and started a family. However, after becoming a parent, they found themselves struggling financially, so a buddy suggested that he go to Mozambique to mine for gold.
He was overjoyed by the prospect, and the following month he moved to Mozambique to begin working in a mine there. After only a short time, however, he was one of the unfortunate casualties when a mine collapsed.
He was brought to the hospital with severe injuries to both legs. He went weeks without medical attention because he wasn’t a citizen of the country he was in, but eventually an ambulance driver saw him and volunteered to help.
At the border between Tanzania and Mozambique, he was transporting bodies to a mortuary and awoke the next day to find himself sprawled out inside the ambulance on top of the bodies he had transported.
When his wife saw him in Tanzania, she wanted him dead since she knew he wouldn’t make it. His legs had already rotted by the time he was transported to the hospital, so the doctor had to amputate them.

His wife had to take on the responsibilities of providing for the family after he was disabled, and he was eventually freed from the hospital and began his life of being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
