Jared Nevaton Ombong’i is a flamboyant businessman who is the chairman of Shabana Football Club, a Kenyan Premier League (FKF) football club based in Kisii County. The club was founded in 1982 and is the third-most-popular club in the country after Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.
Nevaton is also a father. He has a son named Liam Francis with his ex-wife, Lilian Muli, a Citizen TV news anchor. The couple’s marriage was characterized by controversy and eventually collapsed.

In December 2018, Muli accused Nevaton of being a “community husband,” meaning that he was married to multiple women. She said that she had discovered that he had been married to three American women in order to obtain a visa and permanent residence in the United States.
The breakup was widely publicized online, but the couple reconciled a few months later. However, they have since called it quits again.

Despite their tumultuous relationship, Muli and Nevaton have been able to co-parent their son successfully. They are both committed to raising Liam in a loving and supportive environment.
Nevaton is a complex and controversial figure, but there is no doubt that he is a successful businessman and a dedicated father. He is a force to be reckoned with in the Kenyan football scene, and his story is one of triumph over adversity.
