Kenyan middle-distance runner David Lekuta Rudisha, MBS (born 17 December 1988) won the 2012 and 2016 Olympic championships, two World Championships (2011 and 2015), and holds the world record in the 800 meters. He started his running career at St. Francis Kimuron High School in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
One of the sport’s all-time greats, David, has a reputation as an athlete and competitor in the middle-distance category. He set a new world record of 1:40:91 at the London Olympics and became famous for it.
David has a wonderful marriage and life. This Kenyan guy married his longtime sweetheart, Lizzy Naanyu.
The ceremony took place in a secret location in 2010. Their daughter Charlene was born just a short time after their wedding.
