Pastor Ng’ang’a, the controversial city preacher and head of the Neno Evangilism Center, has made headlines once again after putting up a poster indicating that he will lead a prayer and fasting session in which people who want to participate must pay a fee.

The poster, which has been making the rounds on social media, has elicited mixed reactions, with some seeing no problem with it and others accusing the preacher of commercializing prayers.
Participants will be charged 500 Kenya shillings per night, while those who want special rooms will be charged 2000 Kenya shillings.
Ng’ang’a is known for making contentious statements in his sermons, some of which have caused problems with quotas. His television channel was recently suspended by the Communication Authority of Kenya for broadcasting content that violated CAK regulations.
He was recently put on the spot after a video of him embarrassing his wife in front of the congregation went viral.
The preacher reveals in the video the messages his wife has sent him and the responses he has made. When his wife sends him the ‘I love you’ text, he realizes he has been responding incorrectly.
He goes on to explain that he has been replying to the text by saying God bless you. It is then that he puts his wife on the spot by handing her the mic and asking her to tell him how he should be responding to the I love you text.
His wife looks embarrassed as she puts the mic down refusing to answer him. He persists in asking her to respond arguing that he is not the only one who is lost in matters of romance, but she declines.

“I want to know how it goes. We are many ignorant people in here, not just me. There are many ignorant men. These people have told me I should have responded by saying I love you too,”
