Kenyan dancehall musician KRG the Don got into an argument with a fan after he revealed his thoughts on his music.
A fan wrote to the musician, accusing him of being untalented and of forcing himself into the music industry despite his lack of talent.
“Unaforce talent bana chukua jembe ulime,” the fan told KRG.
KRG later said that it doesn’t matter because one must first dig a hole with a plow before planting anything.
“Chep Ku Rui, Wacha tu ni force coz hata Jembe ujiForce ndio inalima mchanga alafu tunapanda mbegu alafu tunavuna chakula .try to see life in a different perspective utaomoka tu.”
Later, the musician advised his fans to heal from whatever they were going through before attacking him since he could make them regret their lives.
“Guys try to heal from whatever you are suffering from before you try to take out frustrations kwa watu Kama mimi coz I will make you regret being alive at this time and age,” he noted
He is, nonetheless, the richest musician in the country. After delivering back-to-back singles, he immediately climbed to popularity.
His song Mathogothanio, which featured Boondocks and DJ Lyta, became a YouTube hit, gaining over 3 million views.
Aside from music, KRG is a DJ. He is claimed to have begun playing music at the age of 16, and his interest has not waned since.
He released the dancehall song Whine and Drop, which was favorably received. In his first year in the music industry, he released seven dancehall and hip-hop tunes with Jiggy.
G Hood Records produced the songs, while Herbal Records mastered them.
The dancehall performer claimed he divorced his wife because she had developed an affinity for disadvantaged people.
“She loved moving around with low-life and people who added no value to her life. People I can only liken to chokoras,” he said
