Kanze Dena has sent loving wishes to former President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family. According to Dena, she is grateful that Uhuru Kenyatta believed in her abilities and given her the enormous responsibility of becoming the government Spokesperson, a position from which she was ousted by William Ruto.

Kanze Dena is certain that Uhuru Kenyatta helped her and watched her progress. The journalist said nothing about William Ruto, implying that she was dissatisfied with her successor.
Kanze was also the first woman in Kenyan history to lead the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU).
“Let me take this opportunity to thank the PSCU team, the season would not have been successful without your support. I will always treasure you, Colleagues at State House, ministries, parastatals, stakeholders”.
Kanze Dena has yet to congratulate Hussein Mohammed, who has been selected as the statehouse spokesperson in her place. Kanze Dena used to erase images of Ruto with the president during her time in the Statehouse, but she now finds herself in an awkward position.
Kanze Dena clearly knows Uhuru Kenyatta inside and out, and she was overjoyed given the number of travels they took together. Kanze Dena used to join Uhuru on most of his foreign visits, but she is now packing her bags to return home.
“My family and friends, Asante for cheering me on and understanding when I had to disappoint. I thank you also for holding me in prayer and the fun and laughter and for being protective,” she said.
She added she is now ready to engage in fun activities.
“How would I have done this without you ladies? Sasa roadtrips zianzèe, nawapenda.”
Kanze also thanked her parents, husband and children for supporting her.
