When asked how she felt about Paul Gicheru’s wife, his mother responded with an astonishingly positive “Kuna Kitu.”
Paul Gicheru’s mother, a lawyer, has requested that her son’s death be linked to Paul’s daughter-in-law.
When Josephine Wambui’s son’s body was discovered at his Karen home on Monday, September 26th, she claimed that Gicheru’s wife knew how he died.

If you listen to Wambui, “Kuna kitu alipewa akakula, sio rahisi mtu kuanguka na kukufa bure” is an accusation.
After taking a late lunch and saying he felt sick, lawyer Paul Gicheru was found dead in his Karen home. The Hague had issued an arrest warrant for Gicheru on charges that he had bribed witnesses in the trials against William Ruto.

On March 10, 2015, he was issued an arrest warrant; he turned himself in that September, pleaded not guilty to all allegations. According to Paul Gicheru’s mother, his wife is aware of the circumstances surrounding his untimely death as a lawyer. On Monday, September 26, 2018, Gicheru, a suspect before the International Criminal Court, passed away.
On Monday night, Gicheru’s body was discovered in his Karen home. The cause of death has not been determined. Family members told police that Gicheru had a late lunch and then started feeling sick. Josephine Wambui, his mom, has recently blamed his wife for her son’s untimely demise.

Wambui claimed that her son was in excellent health and had displayed no symptoms of illness that would have contributed to his untimely death, thus she could not fathom what could have brought about his sudden collapse and death.
The distraught lady speculated that the lawyer may have been given something poisonous, leading to his untimely demise. A person cannot just suddenly collapse and die, so there must have been something he was given and eaten, as Wambui explained to TV 47.
