Leonard Mambo Mbotela, the legendary radio personality, has once again earned a lucrative job in William Ruto’s government. Mambo Mbotela rose to prominence as the host of the “Je, Huu ni ungwana” show on KBC Radio Taifa.

According to recent reports, KBC veteran journalist Leonard Mambo Mbotela has been sworn in as a member of the Kenya National Heroes Council.
Chief Justice Martha Koome, on Monday, September 26, witnessed the swearing in of the veteran broadcaster a month after he was appointed to join the council.
“The mandate of the National Heroes Council which includes the identification, selection and honouring of national heroes is an important one as our national story is largely the narrative of the contribution by our heroes to nation building,” CJ Martha Koome noted.
According to credible sources, the council is in charge of identifying and selecting national heroes to be honoured by the nation. It should be remembered that CS Amina Mohamed named Leonard Mambo Mbotela to the council last month.
