In an interview with the Daily Nation, Whitman reiterated Secretary of State Antony Blinken’ s call for increased access to U. S. markets for Kenyan businesses.

One of America’ s wealthiest women, Meg Whitman, has revealed that Vice President Joe Biden was instrumental in her decision to take the position and essentially step down from her leadership responsibilities at multibillion dollar firms.

” Biden told me: Kenya is one of the most important countries in Africa, and so I’ d like you to take up a post there. The other thing that I think would be a good fit for you and the United States is that Kenya is the East African leader in technology; with the mobile money services and the start- up community, ” she stated.
