In today’s Supreme Court hearing, Azimio Lawyer Julie Soweto walked the court through the steps of manipulating claims by the foreigner, providing illustrations of the evidence along the way. This led to the appearance and repeated mention of the name Jose Camargo.

Jose Camargo and other Venezuelans were arrested by Kenya’s DCI officers in the days leading up to the country’s general election on August 9. They were all eventually deported back to Venezuela.
However, the lawyers for Azimio la Umoja, led by Senior counsel James, Otiende Amollo, Paul mwangi, Julie Soweto, and others, claim that the foreigners continued to access the IEBC portal from wherever they were despite having been deported back to their home countries.

According to a passport photo published by Citizen Digital, the full name of the suspect is ‘Camargo Castellanos Jose Gregorio.’ Many people point to him as evidence that incoming president William Ruto was not duly elected, which is a central claim in the dispute before the Supreme Court.
The forms 34A were allegedly intercepted, altered, and then submitted to the IEBC portal by one Mr. Jose Camargo.

Attorney Julie Soweto presented evidence in court demonstrating that certain Forms 34A were obtained from Mr. Camargo’s website.
Jose.
William Ruto’s legal team has objected, saying that the petitioners are trying to add new evidence of which they were previously unaware.
