Willis Raburu, a prominent Kenyan personality and journalist, has opened up about his weight loss surgery.
Raburu admitted to Mungai Eve that he had gastric surgery, during which his stomach was opened and the doctors and nurses did their thing.

Willis Raburu admitted that he had tried exercising and going to gyms before he had surgery, but without success.
Since this was a priority for Raburu, he opted to have the procedure. He spent a whopping 900,000 shillings on the extortionate operation.
Raburu claimed that after the operation, he began eating less. Raburu claimed that he underwent the procedure in May and shed 14 pounds (6.3 kg) in only a few short weeks.
According to Raburu, this operation is completely safe and will last a lifetime. Raburu stated that he is confident in the surgery’s efficacy and has no remorse for undergoing it.

“I went for a gastric surgery…Mimi let me tell you I respect watu wanaenda gym , gym ni kazi, nilikua na good trainers but nilikua na loss weight but inarudi , by the time I was going for the surgery I was not doing well,. I was 164kgs I needed the surgery because my blood pressure and cholesterol were high. ”
