Popular as an influencer, content producer, songwriter, and performer, Diana Marua has risen to the top of her field. She is the wife of musician and politician Bahati Kioko, with whom she shares four children; a fifth is on the way.
Diana shared some retro images she shot at a performance years ago. She probably wrote the caption to encourage her husband after he lost the Mathare parliamentary elections and to remind herself of the risk she faced in pursuing a career as a musician.

She shared advice on how to bounce back from setbacks, including the idea that if you take a chance and it doesn’t work out, you’ll know for next time to be even more daring and careful.
To paraphrase what she put in her writing: “Taking a chance to advance in your career or other area of life is inevitable. Heed this advice: even if you reach rock bottom, you have not failed. You’ll be better prepared to take calculated risks and get it right the following time. So be it; that’s how it is in the real world.”

Clearly, she was encouraging her husband to run for office again following previous electoral defeats, saying that he would benefit from his newfound experience.
Diana demonstrates her husband’s support by sharing in his triumphs and comforting him in times of trouble.
