Politically genius? Deputy President William Ruto is not letting chances pass but ensures he does things extraordinarily.

The second in command cought the Kenyans talking when he chose to recognize all the leaders who attended Kibaki’s funeral and burial ceremony; bottom from the MCAs up to the former vice presidents.
It is worth noting that Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, MPs, senators and their speakers, governors, DGs and MCAs were not all schedules to speak, neither were they scheduled to be recognized by any speaker.
But DP. Ruto saw it was not befitting to ignore especially Kalonzo and Mudavadi, who once served as Kibaki’s vice presidents. And so he chose to recognize them.
This must have been in thoughts of many Kenyans who felt that the two leaders were not supposed to be ignored.
