Azimio-OKA presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga has settled on Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua as his running mate in the upcoming August General Elections.
This is according to the report by the Taifa Leo Newspaper
In a deliberation presided over by president Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga in State House Nairobi, Mr. Odinga was asked to consider between Kalonzo and Karua for the second highest office, in case he wins presidential race.
A high profile who spoke to Taifa Leo on condition of anonymity said that Raila objected a joint ticket with Kalonzo, saying that he would have gone to Charity Ngilu if he was to pick a running mate from Kalonzo’s region. And so he said a ‘yes’ for Martha Karua.
