How does messiah talk? I know you are curious to know, kindly read on. Jesus Christ is considered the greatest figure to ever cross the horizon if this planet with his ultimate purpose to save humanity.
But actually how should messiah talk? Should he talk healthily even when friction is too much? Well Jesus Christ the wisest men ever, greater than Solomon’s even knew how to handle enemies. Jesus instead of using weapons he used words to quench the darts of the enemy.
Here is my take on some of the most rude words Jesus used against the opposers
1. To Herod
Luke 13:32
He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’
2. To the Pharisees
Mathew 12:34
You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
3. To his disciples
Luke 24:25
He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
4. To Peter he actually called him Satan
Mathew 16:23; Mark 8:33; Luke 4:8
Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
5. To the scribes, Pharisees and lawyers
Luke 11:40-46
40. You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also? 41 But now as for what is inside you—be generous to the poor, and everything will be clean for you.
42 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.
43 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.
44 “Woe to you, because you are like unmarked graves, which people walk over without knowing it.”
45 One of the experts in the law answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also.”
46 Jesus replied, “And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.
