The word mystery means secret or something that is difficult to understand. Now from Genesis story of creation we read of two very important trees. Genesis 2:9 from the ground the Lord God caused to sprout every tree that is pleasing to the eye and good for food; the tree of life, too, in the center of the garden and the tree of the knowing of good and evil.
Trees are very important in the life of a person because first they are pleasing to the eye and secondly the can provide food for mankind.
Among the many trees in the garden of Eden the Bible mentioned only two trees; the tree of life and the one of knowing good and evil. So what does this two trees mean in the life of a person and what are effects of eating from each tree.
The tree of life represents spiritual life where one becames truly aligned with the creator and in such situations terms like discord, confusions don’t exist since all is peace and serenity or all is at equilibrium, this then means the creature can live forevermore.
The tree of knowing of good and evil literally represent polarity or unbalance state, where there is two powers opposing each other. In such state the being is unease, the creation is associated with alot of confusions, misunderstanding and discord and eternity seems mystery
This therefore is the mystery of the two trees in the garden of Eden. The tree of life meaning eternity and the the tree of knowledge of good and evil meaning for only some time
