Kenya is the motherland of talented musicians. Aside from well known artist, the country is also producing fast rising stars. Among them Include a talented Rumba artist based in Kisumu called Danpizzing Ke.
For those that don’t know him, singer Danpizzing is behind the “Karibu Africa” hit which was released about a year ago.
During a recent interview, the top ranked Rumba star, revealed that he is ready to take the music industry in Kenya to another level.
Just by listening to his music, you will notice that Danpizzing has a tallent in singing. The Dholuo singer went on and claimed that he was one of the creative artists in the country.
Being creative, Danpizzing claimed that he will use his creativeness in the music industry to transform and take the industry to a higher level.
The “Amanyo Hera” hit maker seemed to be impressed with his work in music. But, who is Danpizzing’s mentor?
During the same interview, Danpizzing revealed that his mentor was Octopizzo. Octopizzo is an acclaimed hip-hop artist and activist with several national and international awards to his name.
Octopizzo being his number one role model, the Rumba artist also claimed that he respects him. It should be noted that Danpizzing considers Octopizzo as Mr Don.
In one of his post on Facebook, Danpizzing Ke showed love to Octopizzo as he wrote to him,
“We gonna surprise the world one day,two different rappers sharing the same accent and flow…Big up Papi don yuh the king and they know it🤴🤴 OCOCTOPIZZO.” He wrote.
Speaking of Octopizzo, he is one of Hip hop artists in Kenya. His real name is Henry Ohanga and is behind great hits including “Noma ni”, “Wakeritho” which he did it with Sailors.
