N’Golo Kante rejects the latest Chelsea contract, leaving five teams “ready to pounce.”

With less than a year left on his current contract, N’Golo Kante has rejected Chelsea’s most recent contract offer, and suitors are beginning to gather in case negotiations entirely fall down.

N’Golo Kante declined Chelsea’s most recent contract proposal.

In other news, water is wet, and if N’Golo Kante decides to leave Chelsea, he won’t be short of suitors.

The Frenchman has less than a year left on his contract, and after turning down Chelsea’s most recent offer, clubs all across Europe are now paying attention.

Although Kante is eager to continue at Stamford Bridge, he chose to reject the Blues’ offer of a two-year extension with the option of a third – the same deal they just gave new striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – in the hopes of securing a longer one.

Chelsea wants their talisman to stay, but they are well aware of the 31-year-recent old’s injury issues and the fact that giving him a long-term contract would be a major risk considering that he is the club’s top earner.

The Athletic reports that should negotiations with Chelsea fall through, two English clubs, together with one club from each of Spain, Germany, and France, are prepared to sign the midfielder either in January or next summer.

The value of Kante to the residents of west London cannot be overstated. The Blues have dropped three games in his absence just this season, and it was mostly his magical play that carried the team to an improbable Champions League victory in 2021.

Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, will undoubtedly want N’Golo Kante to sign an extension. Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, will undoubtedly want N’Golo Kante to sign an extension.

Even though his age and physical condition are causing some concern, no athlete currently playing can compare to him when he’s at his peak.

Kante has stated that he would be content to end his career with Chelsea, but in order for that to happen, Chelsea must have some faith in him; else, they may have to watch him face them in the league the next year (gulp).
